The case is far from over, Peterson’s attorneys said, noting that an unknown suspect killed Lacey and Conner.

Durst took his stand at his trial for three weeks and testified repeatedly that he did not know who killed Berman.

But he admitted, under cross-examination, that he would take under oath to get away from trouble.
