The woman was casting her ballot in Raymond on Tuesday at the town’s polling station, Holmes Goff Middle School. WMUR-TV reported that she was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and disorderly conduct. She is released on bail.

The machine rejected her ballot multiple times. The woman then folded the ballot and shoved it into the machine, jamming it. The station reported that when the worker tried to remove it, the woman hit him in the face, bloodying him. The police intervened.
