Virginia Republican Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears said Comedian Bill Maher He must “read more” during an appearance on his show on Friday while the panel debates the draw debate.
Sears joined Maher on an episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher” alongside Tablet Magazine columnist James Kirchick and Governor Chris Sununu, RN.H.
“If I don’t want my kid to be danced in school by a drag queen, I don’t want to be done. That’s what happens,” Sears said.
Maher said that while he knew there were “definitely slouching queens who read to children,” he wasn’t so sure about “lap dances.”
She said, as Maher asked, “There are drag queens that do pole dancing, at school?”
“Bill, you have to read more,” she said. Sears seems to be referring to a The video that was shown A drag queen sides with a little girl during an LGBTQ pride event at a North Carolina public school.
Maher laughed and said: I think so.
“I’m a parent. I’m a dad all day. I get to decide what happens in my kid’s life,” Sears said earlier in the clip. “Not you. Not you. Not the government. Not anybody. I’m not a parent. I had this child. I’m responsible for that child. Anything that happens to Little Johnny, you call me like you should.”
Maher and his guests He also discussed the indictment of former President Donald Trump during the show.
Maher said he is conflicted about the accusations, calling it an “impossible choice” because “you can’t prosecute him because he’s always guilty,” referring to both charges against him.
“I always ask myself: what is really best for the future of the country and my future?” “Because I don’t want to live in a country where we are one of these places where whoever is president, as soon as they are out of office, they go after them,” Maher said.
The comedian continued, “It’s almost a Greek tragedy because you set off this cycle of revenge like The House of Atreus. And I guarantee you when Biden leaves office, day two, they’re going to try to arrest him.”
Sears warned Trump’s political opponents to “be careful not to dance on your enemy’s grave because you might fall into it.”
